Good Fun & Deals for the 2018 September School Holidays

Keeping your kids engaged and entertained this upcoming school holiday need not burn a hole in your pocket. We know that activities for kids in Singapore can add up to a good sum for the family so we’ve put together this short list for you to enjoy with your little ones.

1. Rainforest Lumina at Singapore Zoo

Explore Singapore Zoo in the day, and then stay on to experience the Rainforest Lumina when night falls*. Take a 1km walk on the wild side with this new illuminated, multimedia night trail. With 11 interactive zones, take an enchanting walk that promises to be a sensory feast as you go on an immersive journey with the ‘Creature Crew’, a group of unlikely virtual heroes who invites you to join their adventure of protecting our rainforests after the real animals have gone to bed.

Lest you think it’s just another fancy light show, the message behind is much deeper. Rainforest Lumina was created with the theme of “We are one”, that humans, animals and nature are inter-connected, with each having a vital role to play to sustain life on earth – something powerful for the little ones to learn.

Part of the Singapore Zoo’s 45th Birthday celebrations, the Rainforest Lumina is open for a limited time only. The event will run between 7.30pm – 12.00am each night. There are 7 entry timings daily with the last entry at 10.30pm. Adult tickets are priced at S$22. Children aged 0-2 can enter for free and a child ticket (S$16) is required from age 3 to 12.
