1. Introduction

1.1 This privacy policy (“Policy”) explains how personal information is collected, used, and disclosed with respect to your use of the Application. By downloading, installing and/or using the Application, you consent to the privacy practices described in this Policy, as may be modified by us from time to time. Where this Policy uses a word starting with a capital letter, that term will be defined in the Terms and Conditions or elsewhere in this Policy.

2. What Information Do We Collect?

2.1 When you use the Application you may provide us with two types of information: personal information you knowingly choose to disclose that is collected on an individual basis and information collected on an aggregate basis as you and others browse and/or use the Application.

3. Personal Information You Choose to Provide

3.1 Upon launching the Application, we will collect your Phone’s UDID (the unique identifier for your Phone) and your location, in order for us to enable services such as providing information about promotional deals, offers or rewards near you, and saving your favourites to provide a personalized user experience.

3.2 Registration Information: You will provide us information about yourself when you register for an account on the Application. This includes but is not limited to: your name, gender, birthday, email, telephone number, your active credit, debit, lifestyle, loyalty and membership cards, and your preferences.

3.3 Correspondence: If you choose to correspond with us through the Application or through any other communication channel such as email, we may retain the content of your messages together with your user name and/or email address, and our responses.

4. App Use Information

4.1 The Application’s server logs collect information about how it is used by you, including the location and time that you access the Application. Information gathered through the server logs may include the date and time of visits, the promotional deals, offers or rewards viewed, and time of usage. This information is aggregated and analysed for providing a good user experience and for business development purposes.

5. How Do We Use the Information That You Provide to Us?

5.1 Cardable uses personal information to:

  • Administer and expand our business activities
  • Notify you about important changes to the Application, respond to your comments, complaints and other feedback
  • Notify you about promotional deals, offers, rewards and other benefits provided by your credit, debit, lifestyle, loyalty and membership which we think you will find valuable, via the Application, SMS, or email. You may notify us at any time if you do not wish to receive these offers by emailing us at support@getcardable.com

6. Sharing Information with Third Parties

In principle, we do not sell or share any personal identifiable information about you with anyone. We may enter into alliances, partnerships or other business arrangements with third parties who may be given access to personal information including your name, gender, telephone number, birthday and email for the purpose of improving your experience. In connection with alliances, partnerships or arrangements, we may also provide certain information to third parties if we have determined that the information will be used in a responsible manner by a responsible third party. For example, some of our partners provide services on the Application, while others offer promotions and deals for your benefit. We also use third parties to facilitate our business. In connection with these offerings and business operations, our partners and other third parties may have access to your personal information for use in connection with business activities. As we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets or business offerings. Customer, email, and visitor information is generally one of the transferred business assets in these types of transactions. We may also transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, or any dissolution.

NOTICE OF NEW SERVICES AND CHANGES

6.1 Occasionally, we may also use the information we collect to notify you about important changes to the Application, new services and special offers we think you will find valuable. As our customer, you will be given the opportunity to notify us of your desire not to receive these offers by sending us an email request at support@getcardable.com

CERTAIN DISCLOSURES

6.2 We may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or subpoena or if we believe that such action is necessary to (a) conform to the law or comply with legal process served on us or Affiliated Parties; (b) protect and defend our rights and property, the Application, the users of the Application, and/or our Affiliated Parties; (c) act under circumstances to protect the safety of users of the Application, us, or third parties.
